Kevin Hart "Laugh At My Pain" Review
I just checked out the movie/stand-up comedy in theaters, Kevin Hart's Laugh at My Pain. The movie to be honest has some high and low points, but all around it's an okay film. Good enough to be in the theaters? Maybe not. But it's a great dvd to have on movie night.
The movie starts out as a short documentary as Kevin's takes the viewers into his past in Philly. Not only does he recall events from his past but he shows his love for his family during a family dinner with cameras capturing some emotional moments for the new comedy king. Later Kevin takes a walk to some of his favorite childhood hangouts as many of his fans follow the star through the streets of the Pennsylvania neighborhood.
After the short documentary Kevin Hart performs his stand-up. Although the set by the performer has some hilarious moments, his material definitely correlates to the title. The comic digs into tragic family moments and turns most of them into funny jokes. It is obvious that this set by Kevin Hart is not only a hilarious performance but therapy for the comic.
There is also a short film by the comedian, but speaking as a fan... I wish that part of the movie could be deleted. But hey I'm just one man speaking his opinion. Check the film out and give me your feedback.
Holla Back!
