Very Funny Post-Halloween Treat!

On this past week's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live he requested for parents to play a trick on their little treaters (Get it?.. Achmone takes a walk of shame).
The host of the abc show asks his home viewers to send video tapes of their children being told that their parents ate all of their trick or treat candy from the previous nights. The response is hilarious. It's basically "Kids Say the Darnedest Thing: The Halloween Edition".

It's sad but these kids temporary tears fill me with so much laughter. Am I a jerk for that? Maybe. But you watch the clip and try not to laugh, if you can.

Anyways, Holla Back!

NEXT TO SHINE: "FRANK OCEAN"

A rising star has been heard in the music scene known as Frank Ocean. This young singer-songwriter from New Orleans is best known for his hit song and heavily radio played tune "Novacane" but follows up the success of the record with a album and debut EP entitled Nostalgia, Ultra. Although the song "Thinking About You" is not necessarily featured on the ep, it is still one my favorite recently released tracks from the upcoming artist.

After Hurricane Katrina devastated his hometown of New Orleans, Frank Ocean moved to Los Angeles to pursue his music career. There he joined the controversial group OFWGKTA and performed in venues across the globe.

I'm sure there is much more fantastic music to be heard from this new artist, but for now enjoy this uploaded track, and cop the album Nostalgia, Ultra for your listening pleasure.

Kevin Hart "Laugh At My Pain" Review

I just checked out the movie/stand-up comedy in theaters, Kevin Hart's Laugh at My Pain. The movie to be honest has some high and low points, but all around it's an okay film. Good enough to be in the theaters? Maybe not. But it's a great dvd to have on movie night.

The movie starts out as a short documentary as Kevin's takes the viewers into his past in Philly. Not only does he recall events from his past but he shows his love for his family during a family dinner with cameras capturing some emotional moments for the new comedy king. Later Kevin takes a walk to some of his favorite childhood hangouts as many of his fans follow the star through the streets of the Pennsylvania neighborhood.

After the short documentary Kevin Hart performs his stand-up. Although the set by the performer has some hilarious moments, his material definitely correlates to the title. The comic digs into tragic family moments and turns most of them into funny jokes. It is obvious that this set by Kevin Hart is not only a hilarious performance but therapy for the comic.

There is also a short film by the comedian, but speaking as a fan... I wish that part of the movie could be deleted. But hey I'm just one man speaking his opinion. Check the film out and give me your feedback.

Intro Post For LM

"It's been too long..." - B.G.

And yes, that is how I will start my blogging career. This may be labeled for Achmone+KJ but this is LM or, as I will have updated to, "Koper". No, I'm not a hacker. I'm just a fan of the philosopher..

(2 cookies for the first commenter to tell me who and his major breakthrough)

Anyway, that ain't the point. The point is the music. And my first post is for an unconventional pick (get used to it) but dope musician coming out of ATL. It's an emcee (what's so speci..) that so happens to be a woman that is truly amazing. Dizzying, abstract content paired with a technician's flow ? Jaw dropping hip-hop and one of the better releases this year. Take the barbie wig off for a second and just elevate.

Koper. Out.
